Treatments

Dental plaque which remains present for a long time on the tooth surface can calcify. This is called tartar. Tartar arises mainly just above or below the gum line and back and between your teeth. These are the places that are often forgotten while brushing teeth. Tartar can’t be removed by brushing well and should be professionally removed.

Teeth may lose their color by eating and drinking certain products and cigarette smoking. By bleaching them, it is possible to obtain whiter teeth. Unfortunately, not all teeth are suitable for whitening, I like to give you advice about the possibilities of your teeth.

I carry out the most common dental treatments myself and I work very closely with specialists in orthodontics, oral jaw and facial surgery, implant placement and restoration, endodontics and periodontics. Below is a selection of descriptions of relatively common dental treatments.

Regular inspection is important to keep your teeth and mouth healthy at all times. At the base of a good oral health stands the periodic check-up. I’ll check your teeth, gums, jaws, possible fillings, prostheses, implants, crowns and/or bridges. For the periodic check-up, an automatic recall is sent by the special dental program if required.

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth. It is possible to carry a complete or partial dentures. Depending on the state of your teeth, I’ll propose the most suitable denture to you.

A dental crown is a tooth technical made cap of porcelain that fits a buffed tooth exactly and gets glued. A bridge is made to replace one or more teeth. A bridge is glued to one or more pillars. These pillars are buffed teeth on both sides of the open space of the missing teeth. Crowns and bridges give the teeth the natural firmness, form, function and color back.
